Manchester United defender Noussair Mazraoui undergoes corrective procedure
Manchester United right back Noussair Mazraoui has undergone a minor precautionary corrective procedure after experiencing palpitations.
Mazraoui came off at half-time in the goalless draw with Aston Villa on Sunday and withdrew from the Morocco squad for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers this month. He is due to be out for a few weeks.
The 26-year-old is expected to make a full recovery and United sources have stressed Mazraoui's condition is not an emergency.
Mazraoui joined United from Bayern Munich in August for a fee rising to £17.1million and he has started in nine of the ten matches he has been available for.

The Moroccan's absence is likely to leave United with one senior full back available in Diogo Dalot. Right back Dalot has played all but one game this season at left back as Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia are still sidelined.
United resume their Premier League campaign against Brentford on October 19 before travelling to Fenerbahce in the Europa League on October 24 and West Ham United in the league on October 27.
Shaw has not played for United since February 18 due to hamstring and calf injuries. He is expected to return this month but United manager Erik ten Hag suggested it would not be immediately after the October internationals.
Malacia has not played for United since May 28 2023 due to a long-term knee problem. The 25-year-old has started to participate in the warm-up drills in team training but he is yet to figure in a full training session.
Ten Hag played midfielder Toby Collyer at left back in the League Cup thrashing of Barnsley and Victor Lindelof replaced Mazraoui at half-time against Villa.
Lindelof has played at right back a number of times and is likely to return to the starting back four against Brentford on Saturday week.
