Manchester United player ratings as Andre Onana good but Bruno Fernandes poor vs Crystal Palace
Manchester United drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday evening.
Chasing a third successive win, United created more than enough opportunities to secure another victory, particularly in the first half. Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes were both denied by the woodwork while Matthijs de Ligt was thwarted by Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
Despite being dominant for long spells, United had Andre Onana to thank for ensuring they left Palace with something to show for their efforts. Onana made a terrific double save after the break, denying Eddie Nketiah and then Ismaïla Sarr.
Here are how the players rated at Selhurst Park.

Andre Onana
Primarily had the ball to contribute to attacks until he handled Eberechi Eze's tame shot. World-class save from Ismaila Sarr on the follow-up. 8
Noussair Mazraoui
Got tight on Eze and did well against the winger in the first half. Not as prominent in attacks as Diogo Dalot on the other side. 6
Matthijs de Ligt
Survived an early scare against Jean-Philippe Mateta and should have scored with United's best chance of the first half. 6
Lisandro Martinez
Slick on the ball as he looked to spark attacking sequences but invited trouble when he jumped into a challenge with both feet to get booked. 7
Diogo Dalot
Picked out Alejandro Garnacho brilliantly when the Argentine pinged the crossbar in the first half. His most accomplished showing at left back this season. 7
Kobbie Mainoo
A much more polished half from the 19-year-old and he became more involved in the proactive possession play after half time. 6
Christian Eriksen
Vindicated his third successive start with purposeful movement on and off the ball. His corners created chances for De Ligt. 7
Amad
Started slowly but started to impact the game and whipped in a corner that Joshua Zirkzee headed wide from. Struggled to make headway in the second half. 6
Bruno Fernandes
Improved in the second half and shot just wide but on a night United constructed structured attacks, Fernandes's wastefulness jarred with their approach. 4
Alejandro Garnacho
Drew a fine save from Henderson, got booked and hit the woodwork all before half-time. Heavily involved in United's forays. 6
Joshua Zirkzee
Played in Garnacho for an early opening and should have done better from Amad's corner. General play decent but blunt again. 6
Subs
Marcus Rashford
Surprisingly quiet after he came on. 5
Manuel Ugarte
Brought some intensity. 6
Rasmus Hojlund
First appearance in eight weeks. 5
Manager
United played their best half of football in months and the selection of Eriksen was key. Ten Hag cannot legislate for United's recurring profligacy but he should arguably have kept Zirkzee on when Rashford came on. 6
