Manchester United 'scout next Roy Keane' as Champions League star wanted
Manchester United battled for a point in their Premier League clash against Crystal Palace.
United were held to a goalless draw against the Eagles at Selhurst Park on Saturday night and missed out on the chance to climb the league table. Alejandro Garnacho had opportunities to open the scoring for the Reds, while Eberechi Eze also had chances to score for Palace.
Despite the chances, the match finished goalless and the points were shared in southwest London. Now Erik ten Hag and United will look ahead to their first match of the Europa League on Wednesday night when they host FC Twente at Old Trafford.
MEN Sport takes a look at some of the latest United news and gossip that have emerged over the last 24 hours.

United scout Championship starlet
United are continuing to be linked with a move for Sunderland midfielder Chris Rigg.
According to HITC, United scouts have emphasised the need for the club to sign Rigg from the Championship club. It has been reported that the Reds believe Rigg has similar potential to Jude Bellingham, who left Birmingham City to join Borussia Dortmund in 2020.
The report also claims that United believe Rigg has the potential to follow in the footsteps of Roy Keane were he to sign for the club. Rigg, who turned 17 in June, has made seven appearances for Sunderland this season with one goal in the Championship.
The Manchester Evening News says: This is not the first time that United have been linked with signing the Sunderland talent, and it may not be the last. If United believe Rigg has the ability and the potential similar to Bellingham and Keane, then the club should do everything they can to sign the player.
United 'interested' in Champions League forward
United are reportedly interested in signing Red Bull Salzburg Adam Daghim.
According to Tipsbladet, United are one of several clubs expressing an interest in signing the forward. Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are mentioned as competing with United for the 18-year-old's signature.
It has been reported that United sent scouts to watch Daghim in action for Salzburg in the Champions League against Sparta Prague. Daghim made an appearance as a second-half substitute for Sazlburg and has two goals in 10 appearances so far this season.
The Manchester Evening News says: United scouts are often on the lookout for the brightest talents emerging across Europe. If United's scouts have been impressed by Daghim, this rumour won't be the first time that we see the club linked with a move for his signature.
