Manchester United stance on Ben Chilwell transfer emerges as deal moves closer
Manchester United have a little over 24 hours before they are no longer able to complete any more transfer business.
United have already signed four players during the summer transfer window. Leny Yoro, Joshua Zirkzee, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui have all been added to Erik ten Hag's squad this summer.
A deal has also been agreed for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte to sign for United before the deadline. It remains to be seen, though, if United plan to make any more signings before the 11pm deadline on Friday.
MEN Sport has taken a look at the latest United transfer rumours and gossip to be swirling over the last 24 hours.

An update has emerged on United's reported interest in signing Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell. Reports have emerged in recent days claiming that the Stamford Bridge club may be willing to let Chilwell depart before the transfer window closes.
It has been previously suggested that United may have an interest in signing Chiwell. However, the Mail Online has claimed that the Reds are not looking to sign the left-back, with Chilwell expected to remain at Chelsea.
This summer has seen United have been heavily linked with signing a new left-back before the transfer window closes. Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia are United's current left-back options and it remains to be seen if the Reds will look to strengthen the position before the deadline.
Elsewhere, United are reportedly closing in on the signing of Sekou Kone. United have been tipped to sign the talented 18-year-old from Mali-based club Guidars FC.
According to journalist Loic Tanzi, United are expected to sign Kone with a formal announcement to be made on Thursday. Reports earlier this month claimed that Old Trafford would be the midfielder's destination, with the plan being for Kone to feature for United's Under-21s in his debut season in English football.
