Manchester United XI vs Chelsea: Confirmed team and substitutes for Premier League clash
Manchester United have confirmed their team and substitutes for today's Premier League clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Jose Mourinho makes two changes to the side that, eventually, defeated Newcastle United last time out with Eric Bailly and Scott McTominay dropping out.
Juan Mata - who replaced Bailly - keeps his place in midfielde, with Victor Lindelof dropping into the defence.
Alexis Sanchez did not travel down with the rest of the squad yesterday as arrived back late from international duty with Chile, so starts on the bench, with Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial offer attacking support from the flanks for striker Romelu Lukaku.
Once again Ashley Young captains the side.
Manchester United XI: De Gea; Young, Lindelof, Smalling, Shaw; Mata, Matic, Pogba, Rashford, Lukaku, Martial
Substitutes: Sergio Romero, Bailly, Darmian, Andreas, Ander Herrera, Fred, Alexis
For Chelsea, Alvaro Morata starts at Stamford Bridge.
Maurizio Sarri has made two changes as Morata replaces Olivier Giroud while Mateo Kovacic comes in for Ross Barkley.
Morata has scored on his previous two games for the Blues and recently spoke of his desire to improve his goal return after an inconsistent year.
Barkley drops out despite notching a goal and an assist last time out, having picked up a knock while on international duty with England.
Chelsea XI: Arrizabalaga, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso, Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic, Willian, Morata, Hazard
Substitutes: Fabregas, Barkley, Pedro, Caballero, Giroud, Zappacosta, Cahill
