Mandy Moore Is Selling L.A. Home Where She ‘Got Engaged, Married and Brought Home 2 Babies’: ‘Bittersweet’

Mandy Moore in December 2023Mandy Moore is officially ready to say goodbye to her L.A. home where she experienced many special milestones.
The This Is Us star, 40, revealed in an Instagram post on Friday, July 12 that she’s selling her Pasadena, Calif. home that she renovated with her husband Taylor Goldsmith.
The special abode is where the married couple of nearly six years tied the knot in an intimate backyard wedding in 2018 and where they brought home their two sons:Augustus "Gus," 3, and Oscar "Ozzie," 19 months. The couple are currently expecting their third, a baby girl).
“It’s the end of an era,” Moore wrote in her caption sharing the news. “Today, our home that we lovingly restored from the studs, is available for its next chapter and owner. It’s bittersweet as @taylordawesgoldsmith and I got engaged, married and brought home 2 babies here but I’m thrilled to see who she goes to next.”

Moore also shouted out her realtor: "Our dear friend @nonajames is helping us list it, alongside @teresafullerrealestate. Here we go! 😭🩷🩷”
After a series of painstaking renovations, Moore's 1950s modernist home was highlighted in Architectural Digest in June 2018. The actress and her then-fiance moved into the property in January 2017 after purchasing it for a reported $2.56 million, according to the LA Times.

“This house signifies the next chapter of my life—as an adult, a woman, and a performer. I was able to pour all of who I am into making this place,” she told AD at the time.
Moore called on architect Emily Farnham and designer Sarah Sherman Samuel to help bring her eclectic and modern vision to life. The A Walk to Remember actress told the outlet that she was initially drawn to “the views, the pool, the yard, basically the whole energy of the place” when she first saw the property.
The home features a midcentury-modern style complete with blond brick surfaces, walls of glass, an outdoor kitchen, stunning views of the surrounding mountains and more.

While Moore is ready to say goodbye to her Pasadena home, the actress has been busy building and designing her next abode alongside Farnham and Samuel.
In February 2023, the “Candy” singer took a trip to the construction site and shared a closer look at some of the design elements she’s adding to the home that she’s been working on for over six years.

"When those asking how the new house is going," she wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time before adding, "It's going!"
She also shared a photo of her posing with Farnham and Samuel in front of the construction, along with the caption: "6 years working with this dream team! I'm the luckiest."
