A gang of three men have nicked a car in the Erskine area.

Cops have launched a manhunt in a bid to identify the three unknown men, who they believe are linked to the crime.

The vehicle is a white Ford Kuga (registration MF12 BZV) which was stolen from a car park in the Hopeman area.

The crime took place 4.10am on Friday, January 20.

The vehicle was later traced in the Greenock area the same evening.

Constable Steven Carson said: "We’re appealing for anyone who may have been in the Hopeman area in the early hours of Friday, January 20, and witnessed any suspicious activity to come forward.

"We are also keen to speak with anyone who believes they saw the vehicle at any other time before it was recovered."
