Manhunt after woman brutally robbed in Huddersfield street

A woman was attacked close to a shop on a Huddersfield estate.

West Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses to the brutal attack, in which a woman was attacked and robbed by a man and another woman between 9pm and 9.30pm on Sunday, June 23. It happened in Keldregate, just outside the Premier shop.

Police are particularly interested to hear from anyone in the Keldergate, Crawthorne Crescent, Colne Hirst or North Way areas of the estate and urge them to come forward. In a brief statement, a force spokesperson said: "Police in Huddersfield are appealing for witnesses or CCTV footage following a robbery in Deighton at the weekend.

"The incident happened on Keldregate close to the Premier shop between 9pm and 9:30pm on Sunday evening (23/6). A female was attacked and robbed by a male and a female.

"Anyone who may have seen the incident or who may have CCTV footage which may be connected to it, particularly in the Keldergate, Crawthorne Crescent, Colne Hirst or North Way, to contact West Yorkshire Police."
