Manly Sea Eagles' towering forward Ben Condon is a player attracting Super League interest heading into 2025. Rugby League Live understands the 24-year-old is being watched by a number of clubs after it emerged that he would be available for a move next year.

Condon is contracted to the Sea Eagles next year but it's believed they are willing to let him leave his contract to take up a Super League opportunity next year. Aged 24, Condon signed for the Sea Eagles from North Queensland Cowboys after a promising start to his NRL career but has struggled to kick on since and has predominantly played in the New South Wales Cup in the past two seasons.

Condon has been playing for the Blacktown Workers, making 22 appearances this season and scoring four tries this season. His games in the competition ensure he is eligible for a Governing Body Endorsement (GBE) to play in Super League next season.

A back-rower, Leigh Leopards are believed to be the club that has shown the most significant interest in Condon to this point as they continue to search for a player to replace Kai O'Donnell, who is returning to the NRL in 2025. The Leopards have been considering a number of targets, with Condon thought to be one of the players under their consideration.

Coming in at 6ft four inches and 109 kilos, Condon would certainly add size to any Super League pack next year. Condon does have NRL experience and while he has only played one top-flight game this season, he has made 17 appearances in the competition to date.

Leigh have made a habit of signing obscure NRL talent and enhancing their careers. The likes of Tom Amone, Edwin Ipape and O'Donnell all arrived after limited NRL opportunities and established them as top talent. Condon, still young and with his best days ahead of him, would fit their overseas recruitment profile.

But they aren't the only club that has tracked Condon in recent weeks since his availability came to light.
