Manon Loizeau documents exile, hardship & childhood in new film on Afghan teenager

Afghan teenager Elaha found strength and confidence behind the camera for the first time, as she began to film her family's daily life in the Moria refugee camp in Greece. Journalist and documentary maker Manon Loizeau tells us more about how Elaha's journey to a safe haven in Europe inspired her latest film "La vie devant elle", as one Afghan family overcome seemingly endless hurdles to offer their children a better life, far from the Taliban.

Manon talks about working with her musician sister Emily on the soundtrack for the film, looks back at a career spent shining a light on injustice and resistance, and we discuss the glimmers of hope amid repression across the globe.
