Man's 'gourmet dog food' jacket potato topping has people in stitches
Niall B's unique take on a jacket potato, complete with cheese and prawn cocktail, has sparked quite the debate on Rate My Plate on Facebook. His culinary creation, which also featured scotch eggs on the side, left thousands chuckling and critiquing his unconventional choice of toppings.
The "Jacket Potato with Cheese and Prawn Cocktail" didn't win over the crowd, with many mocking the dish's appearance. One commenter quipped: "Looks like gourmet dog food."
Others described it as "grim" yet opinions were split. Some adventurous eaters expressed a willingness to try the prawn and cheese combo, with one saying: "I'd eat this, love prawn cocktail and cheese with jacket potatoes."
Another chimed in: "I'm not sure about the combination of cheese and prawn but I'd still eat it."

However, not everyone was convinced by Niall's topping choices, and some were puzzled about what lay beneath the mound of prawns. "Where's the jacket? " one person joked, while another teased: "Do you want some jacket potato with those prawns?".
The presence of what appeared to be scotch eggs near the plate also caught the attention of several users. A curious commenter remarked: "What are those brown balls? Cheese, preferably melted, is lovely on a jacket potato but not prawn cocktail. Sorry, you lost me on this one! ".
One user quipped: "Cheese and prawn cocktail! Have you tried adding a garnish of carpet fluff and chimney soot. Couldn't make it any worse." The food enthusiast's unusual pairing did not sit well with Facebook users.
Another chimed in with a comment on the dish's presentation: "Poor Jacket Potato, such disrespect....What are those brown yokes, scotch eggs? ".
