If you watched it last week, you will know that a certain new drama has got everyone talking and on the edges of their seats. Say hello to Nightsleeper, which looks set to be unmissable viewing over the next few weeks.

The work of BAFTA winning writer Nick Leather, Nightsleeper will take viewers on board a Glasgow to London sleeper train, full of passengers expecting to enjoy stress free journey, only for things to take a startling turn when hackers attempt to gain control of the vehicle. With everyone's lives in peril, two strangers, one, Joe Roag, played by Peaky Blinders star Joe Cole, have to work together, despite the fact that one is on the train and one isn't.

After weeks of teaser adverts airing on the BBC and online, Nightsleeper launched on Sunday, September 15, with the Nightsleeper cast also featuring David Threlfall, the actor last seen in ITV's Passenger, but best known for playing Frank Gallagher in Channel 4 smash Shameless and Alex Ferns, known to millions as much hated EastEnders villain Trevor Morgan.

How many episodes of BBC's Nightsleeper are there?

There are SIX in total,. each airing on BBC One on Sunday and Monday nights for the next few weeks. Episode three is on September 22, episode five on September 23 and episode five on September 29, before the series is due to wrap up with the sixth and final part on September 30.

Alternatively, all six episodes were made available to binge on BBC iPlayer, before the first one had even aired on TV. There was a dramatic conclusion to Sunday's fourth episode when a major character was killed off right before credits rolled,

A synopsis for episode five. airing on BBC one on Sunday, September 29 teases: "As Hud and Miller interrogate Abby about her past, Saj realises that this is his chance at the big time and decides to try to stop the train his way. Joe must deal with the deadly aftermath of the shooting, while working out whether or not to follow Saj's orders or put his faith in his fellow passengers instead."
