Map shows latest coronavirus cases in your area
Cases of coronavirus are on the rise in one part of Merseyside. However, cases across the county are down 23.8%.
Statistics covering the seven days up to September 11 show that Carlisle had the highest rates of covid in the country, with 10.88 cases for every 100,000 people in the area. That was followed by Waverley with 9.31 cases per 100,000.
The figures are for all forms of covid, not just the latest variant. The only borough of Merseyside to have an increasing number of cases is Knowsley, with 3.23 per 100,000, up by 25%. To find out how many coronavirus cases are in your area, check out our interactive map below.
