New map shows Surrey's cheapest house price hotspots
Bagshot is the cheapest place to buy a home in Surrey, according to the latest Land Registry data. Homes in the GU19 postcode area sold for an average of £419,287 each in the 12 months to the end of July. That's less than any postcode area in our county with at least 20 sales over the last year.
Ashford is the next cheapest place in our county to buy a home. Houses sold for £426,463 each on average in the TW15 postcode area.
That's followed by RH6 ( Horley ) with an average home sold for £432,806, RH1 ( Redhill ) with an average home sold for £447,731, and KT9 (Chessington) with an average home sold for £451,116.

Cobham has the highest average sale price of any postcode area in Surrey to have had at least 50 sales over the last 12 months. Houses sold for an average of £1,444,627 in the KT11 postcode area.
The GU25 area was the next most expensive place to buy a home in our county. The average home in Virginia Water sold for an average of £1,177,837 last year.
That’s followed by KT10 ( Esher ) with an average home sold for £1,154,556, KT24 (West Horsley) with an average home sold for £1,055,120 and GU5 (Albury) with an average home sold for £930,409
