Marco Junior sparked an outrage when he was shown having sex on the reality show with model Laura Carter, as well as bragging about spending his dad’s money on drink, drugs and prostitutes.

He was later arrested for stealing £186,000 in cash from an ‘associate’ of his dad’s – a crime he allegedly carried out during a ‘two-day sex party’. Ew.

“Life is an emotional rollercoaster, it really is,” 54-year-old Marco told the Mail on Sunday. “Of course I didn’t watch Little M on TV – by watching it I would have been endorsing it.

“I work in TV. I understand the cynicism, but in my opinion that TV company is appalling for airing it, not because of my son, but because of all the other kids watching it. Where’s their moral compass?”

Hmmm… maybe it fell down the back of the sofa at a two-day sex party?

Dad has now brought Marco Junior home to his country pile in the hope that a bit of country air will whip him into shape.

“Like most fathers I would do anything for my children,” he explains. “You can’t criticise unconditional love. I’ve sometimes over-spoiled them but I can’t help it.”

The chef, who had three Michelin stars under his belt by the time he was 33, also had some cutting words for TV rivals Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver.

“I look at chefs like Gordon and Jamie and you can’t criticise people for making a living,” he teased, “but the fact is Jamie’s never had a Michelin star.

“I come from the old world of gastronomy where a chef’s place is behind the stove not in front of the TV camera,” the, er, one-time Hell’s Kitchen host, who’s now a judge on Masterchef in Australia continued. “Until I retired I was in my kitchen every day my name was above the front door.”
