Margate Summer Series 2025 line-up confirmed so far as more artists announced

Music lovers in Kent have been absolutely spoiled recently as numerous huge artists and acts have been announced for next year’s Margate Summer Series. This year’s iteration saw massive talents, from Craig David and JLS to Busted and Bryan Adams, take the outdoor Scenic Stage at Dreamland to deliver a string of knockout performances.

Thousands flocked to the seaside town between June and September to dance and sing their hearts out, with some of the biggest icons from across the world of music. Looking ahead to next year, organisers have promised that Summer Series 2025 will be the “biggest iteration to date” - and excitement is already beginning to mount with several acts now announced.

First confirmed was Dance With Me Tonight singer Olly Murs, who will be performing in August. Joining him on the line-up so far are legendary rock band Texas, punk favourites Sex Pistols with Frank Carter, Basement Jaxx and UB40 featuring Ali Campbell.

Indie icons The Libertines have also announced a huge homecoming show as part of Margate Summer Series, which will mark their debut performance at Dreamland with fellow Kent rockers Soft Play confirmed to be supporting. And just announced this week, ska giants Madness have been added to the billing and will take to the seaside stage at the start of August following their sold-out Dreamland show earlier this year.

Meanwhile, reggae lovers won’t want to miss the huge Margate Reggae Festival on Saturday, July 12 which will see UB40 joined by Maxi Priest, The Selecter, Trojan Sound System and many more legendary names from across the genre.
