It looks like Love Island has a celebrity fan in Margot Robbie as the Hollywood star celebrated her 31st birthday with a Casa Amor-themed bash.

Australian actor Robbie gathered some of her closest showbiz pals for a party in honour of her birthday...and everyone's favourite reality TV show.

Wolf of Wall Street star Robbie and her friends, including model Kelly Gale and actor Samara Weaving, donned their brightest bikinis and highest heels for the celebration which Gale shared on Instagram with the caption "Love Island".

Weaving also shared a photo of the party with the caption: "Got a text!"

She also showed off a photo of herself drinking from an ice sculpture, and another of a rodeo bull that they appeared to have hired for the party.

But Birds of Prey star Robbie is unlikely to have been up for any recoupling ceremonies as she has been happily married to British film producer Tom Ackerley since 2016.

The couple were recently seen enjoying a romantic trip to Mexico as they took a break from their busy filming schedules.

But while Robbie's friends showed off their best photos from the big day, Robbie didn't join them in posting online as she announced a few weeks ago that she would be taking a break from social media for a while and redirected fans to the account for her production company Lucky Chap Entertainment, which made the Oscar-winning Promising Young Woman.

Love Island launched its latest series in the UK last week after a year off from running a summer series due to last year's coronavirus restrictions.

The series, hosted by Laura Whitmore, has already hit headlines as one contestant Chloe Burrows has been targeted with death threats from trolls after entering the villa as a bombshell single, ousting Shannon Singh.

Singh has called for fans to live the #BeKind message and back down from abusing Burrows.
