Margot Robbie is on the cover of W magazine’s new November issue wearing a Calvin Klein 205W39NYC Western shirt. But she isn’t the first one to do it. First lady Melania Trump sported the same designer shirt in red back in September when returning from Camp David. Trump paired the shirt with black J.Brand jeans and an Hermès handbag.
Trump’s look was much more relaxed compared to her usual fitted dresses and pussy-bow blouses. But clearly, although this is one of her more casual looks, the first lady still has a penchant for designer taste. During her White House Kitchen Garden event, she opted for another Western-style shirt — a red plaid top by Balmain, which retails for $1,362.

But aside from their similar sartorial choices, Trump and Robbie could not be more different. The first lady just wrapped up a visit to the disastrous flood zone in Puerto Rico. Robbie, on the other hand, has a strong chance of receiving an Oscar nomination for her extraordinary performance in the upcoming biopic I, Tonya. In the film, Robbie plays the role of Tanya Harding, the American Olympic figure skater whose career ended after she attacked fellow skater Nancy Kerrigan.
Trump and Robbie aren’t the only ones who have been spotted in the Calvin Klein 205W39NYC two-tone Western shirt, which retails for $695 and is clearly a popular fall trend. The top has previously been seen on the cover of Vogue Korea, as well as on Moonlight star Ashton Sanders and Christina Ricci, who wore a dress version of the shirt.
