Mariah Carey accused of 'Photoshop fail' after legs appeared slimmed

Mariah Carey has been accused of a ‘Photoshop fail’ after posting this seemingly innocent Thanksgiving selfie to her social media accounts.

In the photo, the pop star can be seen looking super slim and gorgeous, however, beady eyed fans were quick to spot that all wasn’t quite as it seemed.

A curve in the cupboard behind Mariah’s legs was quickly noted along with a suspicious bend in the right side of the mirror – which many believe is evidence that she had been altering her shots.

One fan wrote: “That’s got to be some of the worst photoshopping I’ve seen!”

While another just said: “Photoshopped!!!!!! Why????”.

The star is currently single following her split from billionaire fiancée, James Packer, last month.

The pair reportedly decided to call off their engagement after James decided that he no longer wanted to make the pop star his wife despite giving her an £8 million engagement ring.

Mariah was said to be seeking financial compensation from James after it was confirmed that the wedding wouldn’t be going ahead.

The romance between diva Mariah Carey and Australian billionaire James Packer went south in October. Up until then, their relationship has rolled along, with the two first stepping out together in September and, just four months later, planning to marry. Multiple reports confirmed the split, but no one could agree on exactly why it happened and who exactly is to blame. The singer was said to be struggling to come to terms with her fiancee’s decision to call off the wedding, demanding a $50 million ‘inconvenience fee’. It’s since been rumoured he has agreed to let her keep the ring instead.

A source told People magazine at the time: “First the split didn’t seem to faze Mariah. It was like she expected things to be fine soon. Now she realises that things aren’t fine and not being with James makes her depressed.”

Mariah appears to have since come to terms with the split, telling Ellen Degeneres this week that ‘everything happens for a reason’ and that she ‘dodged a bullet’.
