Marion Cotillard breaks silence and confirms pregnancy amid Brangelina divorce drama
French actress Marion Cotillard has broken her silence on rumours that have emerged around her relationship with Brad Pitt, who co-stars in the upcoming spy thriller Allied with her.
The 40-year-old took to Instagram late Wednesday night to share a lengthy message, explaining the need to “speak up” on the speculation that she is the reason Angelina Jolie filed for divorce on Monday.

Marion categorically denied the rumours that she had been involved in an affair with her co-star, insisting that she has nothing to do with Brangelina’s shock split.
“This is going to be my first and only reaction to the whirlwind news that broke 24 hours ago and that I was swept up into,” she wrote. “I am not used to commenting on things like this nor taking them seriously but as this situation is spiraling and affecting people I love, I have to speak up.”
The award-winning star then went on to credit her long-term boyfriend Guillaume Canet as the “man of her life.”

The couple – who have been in a relationship since 2007 and are parents to their five-year-old son Marcel – also shared an exciting announcement in her candid post.
“Firstly, many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting. He is my love, my best friend, the only one that I need,” she continued.
“Secondly to those who have indicated that I am devastated, I am very well thank you. This crafted conversation isn’t distressing. And to all the media and the haters who are quick to pass judgement, I sincerely wish you a swift recovery.”

Marion then addressed Brad and Angelina directly, writing: “Finally, I do very much wish that Angelina and Brad, both whom I deeply respect, will find peace in this very tumultuous moment.”
This comes after Angelina, 41, filed for divorce from Brad, 52, on Monday afternoon after two years of marriage and 12 years together, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
