Liz is forced to confess to her daughters that she made it all up, but it's Susan who gives her a right royal serve. She can't believe Liz would use such a traumatic character from Liz and Bea's lives to gain sympathy. As Liz packs her bags to leave, Karl helps Susan understand that her sister needs help.
Meanwhile, Gary has planned for Jeremy to be at the Retreat and pick up his hot bag of cash. Walking in on Jeremy in the darkened reception, Sindi assumes he's robbing the place and alerts the police. Hearing the sound of the approaching sirens, Jeremy bolts with his money – and knocks Sindi unconscious on his way out.
Elsewhere, Dipi feels guilty when she learns her Flapper! rehearsals are playing havoc with Shane and Sheila's VCE commitments. To make it up to her husband, Dipi proposes a novel approach to study – a pop quiz / strip show that leaves Shane well prepared for his upcoming test. When Sheila learns about it, she ropes Clive in to do the same for her, only for Xanthe to walk in on them at the worst possible moment.
