Mark Wright Breaks His Silence On His Marriage To Michelle Keegan

Following months of speculation, Mark Wright has finally responded to rumours that his marriage to Michelle Keegan is on the rocks.

The former TOWIE star tied the knot with Michelle, 29, last year, but after spending a lot of time apart due to conflicting work schedules, the newlyweds have been plagued with claims that their relationship is in trouble.

Mark, 29, has now broken his silence over the rumours and revealed that he’s currently planning a long-awaited holiday with his wife, who is due to wrap filming on the ITV drama Tina & Bobby soon.

He told OK! Magazine: “It’s going to be exciting because we’ve both been working for a good few months.

“I’ve been up and down the country and so has Michelle, so it’ll be great when we finally get that time off – it’s been a long time coming!”

Mark’s sister Jessica, 30, also confirmed that the couple are still “very happy” together despite being separated geographically – with Mark typically based at their Essex home and Michelle jet-setting around the globe for various TV commitments.

“They’re amazing and very happy and very in love. They’re so sick of hearing the rumours,” she told the Loose Women panel last month. “I want what they have got, it’s the fairytale.”

Speaking about his sister’s comments, Mark said: “Family are meant to do that. She didn’t stick up for me but if she’s asked something that isn’t necessarily true, she’s going to put it straight and say her side of it like we all would.”

“She’s just answering questions the way she believes things should be answered,” he added. “The right way.”
