Mark Wright defended as he 'supports' wife Michelle Keegan in rarely-seen move
Mark Wright has been flooded with messages as he made the rare move of posting a string of new pictures of himself and his wife Michelle Keegan following a recent glamorous night out together.
The loved-up couple, who tied the knot in 2015, hit the red carpet last week at the star-studded National Television Awards. Stockport-born Michelle was among the nominees and had three opportunities to take home silverware from the star-studded ceremony, which took place at London's O2 Arena.
Sky comedy Brassic, in which Michelle plays one of the lead character's Erin Croft was nominated for the comedy category but lost out to Mrs Brown's Boys. She was also nominated herself for drama performance for her role in Fool Me Once while the hit Netflix series was also up for new drama.

But the solo award went to Toby Jones for his portrayal of Sir Alan Bates in ITV's agenda-setting drama Mr Bates vs the Post Office, which also picked up the new drama at the annual awards bash.
Following the annual event, Mark, 37, took to his Instagram Story where he shared a photo of himself and his other half, also 37, could be seen sharing a loving moment as the latter smiled while her husband planted a huge smacker on her cheek. Alongside the post he wrote: "I'm proud of my girl."
Now, the former The Only Way is Essex star (TOWIE) has shared a string of images of them together, seemingly making their way to their car before the awards took place. "A night supporting the wife," he simply captioned the post.
In the photos, former Coronation Street star Michelle could be seen wearing a beautiful black mini dress, which came with long sleeves and a built-in choker at the neckline, as well as a billowing cape. Her hair was scooped up into a glam updo while she accessorised with vintage Chanel earrings and even sported a new fringe.
Meanwhile, Mark appeared proud as punch alongside his wife, as he dressed in a coordinating black suit. And it didn't take long for the comments to flood in on his latest social media post.
@lynnlees said: "Lovely couple, I wish you lots of happiness!" @abbyharrison14 commented: "Stunning couple it was pleasure to watch you both walk down the red carpet! @michkeegan you're definitely a winner in my eyes." @lucasconcierge wrote: "You both look absolutely gorgeous." @jessicagregory.x added: "No I can’t cope what a stunning pair."
Others, however, jumped to the couple's defence when they were hit with comments about having children, something they frequently get when seen in innocent photos together. One said: "When will you learn that saying this is EXTREMELY RUDE (sic)." Another said: "Maybe they don't want babies! Not all of us do you know."
A third shared: "Not everyone wants babies. What a closed minded thing to say." A fourth added: "Leave them alone. Can he not put a picture on without people writing these sort of comments all the time.
