Mark Wright leaves viewers baffled over ‘Australian accent’ on Lorraine

Mark Wright has left viewers baffled over his “Australian accent” on Lorraine.

Fans first bashed the presenter for having a weird “American twang” within weeks of landing in Los Angeles in 2017.

But Wright appeared to adopt another accent as he hosted a showbiz segment on Lorraine on Wednesday morning.

One viewer wrote: “How comes Mark Wright's accent has changed so much?”

Another said: “Oi what happened to Mark Wright’s accent?”

A third posted: “Why is this Essex boy sounding Australian?”

Wright also spoke about his wife Michelle Keegan, saying they still find time to spend together despite working on different continents.

The news comes after Wright said that his marriage to Keegan "will always come first".

Speaking to Lorraine he said: "When I get a couple of days off, I fly there and when she gets a couple of days off, she flies here.

"It's easy enough - we just make it work as we're young.

"We're together - we don't always report when we see each other but we make it work.

"We don't have kids yet and while we're young and chasing our dreams we make sure things are good."
