Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan defended by fans after sharing nighttime snap of £3.5 million home
Fans have rushed to defend Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan from insensitive comments about their private life after sharing a snap of their huge home at night.
The couple have been behind the creation of their own mega-mansion in Mark's native of Essex. Mark and Stockport-born Michelle, who tied the knot in 2015, bought the mock-Tudor-style house for a reported £3.5 million back in October 2019.
And, over nearly four years they oversaw the knocking down of the existing property to build their very own luxury Georgian-style mansion. They then moved in while they added the finishing touches to their dream home before celebrating with their own festival-style party.
In August last year, the presenter and the actress could finally celebrate following the addition of their incredible resort-like garden which completed the huge project and hosted an epic party that included performances from Mark's pal Olly Murs, Scouting for Girls and a stand-up routine from Russell Kane.
They have since added various different touches to their beloved abode, with updates shared to their own dedicated Instagram account @wrightyhome.
In their latest post, Mark and Michelle, both 37, shared a picture of their enviable mansion lit up as night fell and the stars glistened in the clear sky. The caption alongside the photo read: "Took this amazing shot of the house last night…. Look at the stars above."
And their followers were left in awe. @ewemovehertfordshire said: "Look at the house more like." @tan071063 commented: "What a beautiful house. All that hard work paid off. Well done you guys." @jacquimaizels replied: "I’m not really looking at the beautiful stars just the stunning mansion."
@houseinthecountryside_ wrote: "Such a stunning shot." @damoswift shared: "Totally deserve it guys, hard work pays off. Amazing amazing home." @house_of_rainbows1 posted: "Beautiful house and backdrop!!" @sammysparkle67 added: "House of dreams. Love it."
But some weren't as focused on the house and more on Mark and Michelle's private life. One commenter said: "It's a romantic night. Start filling that house with babies," which prompted an outpouring of support for the couple.
@annamarieshelton27 said: "Why do people have to fill houses with babies. They dont need to keep hearing this. Its nobody elses business." @aimeebeagrie shared: "Fill your home with memories not babies! So sick of reading peoples c**p about having kids..." @the_crystal_bar added: "What if they don’t want children!? Thats ok too!"
