Marnie Simpson opens up about trauma in emotional Celebrity SAS scenes
Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins spoilers follow.
Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins star Marnie Simpson has opened up about her past trauma in emotional scenes.
A spin-off of the hit Channel 4 series SAS: Who Dares Wins, the show puts a group of famous faces through their paces in a demanding two-week training course.
Tonight's (September 23) episode saw the celebrities test their discipline in a series of trials. The first task involved a forward abseil race down a 300-foot working dam, which tested the recruits both physically and mentally.
After struggling with the task, Marnie revealed to co-star Georgia Harrison that she wanted to leave the process as it was "making her feel worse" than when she arrived.

The Geordie Shore star was later brought to see chief instructor Billy Billingham, in an effort to motivate her to stay on the show.
"I'm not good, I'm not gonna lie. I just feel like I've misunderstood what this is," said Marnie. "I thought that I would come here to gain something that I thought I was lacking."
Marnie went on to candidly explain how her dad's sudden death and a difficult child birth have contributed to her anxiety and confidence issues.
The reality star felt she was too "fragile" to talk about her dad's passing in detail, but explained that it set off a lot of "health anxiety" and worry.
"All that has contributed to just me being really like unconfident and anxious, just always thinking the worst and never wanting to push myself in certain situations," she said.

Billingham reassured Marnie that she needed to endure the challenges that SAS has to offer in order to get more out of the experience. "You're stronger than you think," he added.
Under the cover of darkness, the recruits were later tasked with performing one of the most feared tasks – the backwards dive.
After Pete Wicks and Rachel Johnson successfully completed the dive, Marnie also passed the difficult challenge, much to the relief of her co-stars. After her pep talk, will Marnie choose to remain on the show?
This year's season of Celebrity SAS also features TOWIE star Bobby Norris, as well as Love Island's Ovie Soko and comedian Shazia Mirza.
Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins airs and streams on Channel 4.
