A Melbourne man chose a crowded commuter train to propose to his girlfriend on, echoing the location where they met 10 years ago.
In footage recorded by a trains staff member, Hannah is unsuspecting until she hears the train conductor announce he has something to say that “specifically concerns carriage four.”
“We have two of our regular commuters with us today,” he continued. “Hannah and Ryan first met on the train about ten years ago and Ryan has a special question he’d like to ask Hannah.”
Hannah appeared to be shocked at first but didn’t take long to say yes, leading to cheers and claps from their fellow commuters en route to Flinders Street Station.
A Metro Trains spokesperson said a number of employees had worked together to bring Ryan’s plan to life, including the conductor and two people who took footage.
