Married at First Sight Australia returned to UK TV screens tonight (March 6) with a very sweet new couple that viewers are already hoping will go the distance.

Lyndall and Cameron were the first to be paired up and introduced in this season of the Australian version of the reality dating show. And for Lyndall, the emotions were running high before the wedding even began.

Lyndall was previously diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, but after new medication, her life expectancy was increased by 30 years plus, giving her a new outlook on life.

Despite Cameron's "she'll be right" country attitude, the carpenter was extremely nervous to meet his new bride. There were also a few tears from Lyndall in the moments before the wedding ceremony.

"I definitely thought about my wedding day a lot when I was younger," Lyndall said. "But you do kind of think 'well how could I ask someone to be with me forever, when my forever is a lot shorter than theirs?"

Cameron was giddy throughout the entire ceremony and Lyndall later said she was "so relieved" to be paired with such a "sweet" and "beautiful" man.

"That's exactly the kind of person that I have been looking for," Lyndall said after the ceremony. And it seems that fans are just as smitten as Lyndall is.

One fan wrote: "Cameron and Lyndall are giving cute vibes. First impression is this could be a good match."

Some even compared the couple to past Married at First Sight favourites Cam and Jules, with one user writing: "Cam and Lyndall have things in common, I have good vibes, please don't disappoint... let them be the Jules and Cam 2.0 we need that."

However, while all agreed that the couple was wonderfully matched by the experts, some worried that they were located at opposite ends of the country. Lyndall hails from Perth while Cameron works in Indigenous communities in the Northern Territory of the country.

One user wrote: "Lyndall is so precious. We must protect her! (Even if they've paired her up with someone who lives over 3000km away!)"

While another wrote: "Lyndall and Cam could be the perfect couple... but they're from opposite sides of the country!!!!"
