Married at First Sight UK groom apologises to bride after being confronted on honeymoon
Married at First Sight UK's Nathan and Lacey head off on their luxurious honeymoon in the upcoming episode of the E4 reality show.
The duo were seen exchanging vows in Tuesday's (September 17) episode, having met for the first time at the altar. At their wedding reception, Lacey confided in Nathan about her fear of driving due to losing friends in a car accident and experiencing a crash herself.
However, Nathan's response left her feeling let down as he seemed to quickly change the subject rather than empathising with her story.
As they spend quality time together in The Gambia during Wednesday's (September 18), Nathan and Lacey continue to learn more about each other, with Lacey not hesitating to address her concerns with Nathan, reports OK!.

Speaking to the camera, Lacey says: "I had the best date with Nathan but I do feel like I need to speak to him about a few things that bothered me. I do need somebody who is emotionally intelligent."
She confronts her husband, saying: "So, I don't know if you were aware but when I was opening up to you I just felt your reaction was a bit cold. I felt like you were trying to shut me down but I was trying to open up."
Nathan responds: "It's easy for me to get a bit distracted. I don't want to blame my ADHD but whether I was just not in the right head frame but I just daydream. I apologise and I'll switch on next time you mention anything deep for you."
"I'm open to hearing more about you and hearing what it's like having ADHD because I am your partner and it helps me understand you. So you even saying that is a big step for me." Nathan later tells Lacey "I'm here for you."
Enthusiasts of the show are left in suspense over whether Nathan and Lacey's honeymoon will be a success, and if the couple can survive the experiment through to the end.
Currently, inquiries into whether the pair have remained together post-experiment remain unanswered, with an official update on their relationship status due only after the experiment concludes.
Married at First Sight UK airs Monday to Thursday on E4 at 9pm
