Married at First Sight UK star Amy Christophers has opened up about what she regrets from this series.
Amy was matched with Josh Christie in the show's experiment, and despite getting off to a strong start, there have been several heated arguments between the newlyweds.
"There's just certain situations that I could have handled better I think," Amy told Radio Times. "You know, you have to take into consideration how stressful it is and emotions run high."
In previous interviews, Amy has criticised the show's editing, saying it blew the couple's arguments out of proportion and portrayed her in a bad light.
She said in one supposed argument, she had recently been told by the production team that a visit to her family in Cornwall had been cancelled. "I just lost my rag with the whole process and I wanted to leave," she explained.
"Like, it wasn't anything to do with Josh, but just the whole situation of like, 'We can't go anywhere without a chaperone', like you're just never alone and it's just a long process."
She also admitted she hadn't seen the show before she applied to star in it.
"It's very different from what I thought it was going to be. I didn't even know what the show was when I applied for it," she admitted.
"I literally thought it was going to be like a documentary and you just find a person, that's it. But then when you have to add in the equation of the dinner party and all those other things, I'm not used to people being in my business 24/7, and I'm not used to being in other people's business."
Despite appearing somewhat rocky throughout the season, the pair said in their final date on Monday (September 27) that, while they weren't in love yet, they were definitely on the right track.
Married at First Sight UK airs Monday to Thursday at 9pm on E4, and is also available on All 4.
