Married at First Sight UK's Amy Christophers has admitted that she struggled at the recent reunion show after seeing ex Josh Christie.

In the weekend's follow-up episode, the pair revealed they had gone their separate ways, though Amy did appear to still feel some attraction to him.

"I was full of emotions and seeing him again brought all of those feelings back," she told Closer (via The Mirror). "He had been working out and looked so hot!"

Reflecting on the aftermath of the series, Amy admitted the pair "worked so hard" to make their relationship work, though the geographical distance presented a problem, and even though they tried "find a solution to every hurdle we faced", it was ultimately doomed.

She also claimed Josh "wasn't making an effort" and couldn't give a "real reason" for their break-up when they eventually called time on the relationship. However, they have been on good terms since the split.

"We were portrayed as always rowing but we had a lot of laughs together," Amy added, revealing they "still talk every day".

"I don't let things get to me, but reading comments attacking my character has been hard," the star went on to admit.

Meanwhile, fellow Married at First Sight UK star Luke Dawson has also spoken out since the reunion, which saw him and Morag Crichton reveal they had also split.

"It's been hard to not say a thing, respond to all kind messages and thoughts and comments," he wrote on Instagram.

"I've learned so much. But my story has not ended here. I will try to do good things for so many people with a small platform in hope of moving forward from this experience and couldn't be more grateful.

"Met some friends for life. But for now I'm going to try and sleep for the first time in months. Thank you."

Married at First Sight UK airs on E4, and is also available on All 4.
