Married at First Sight UK star Jess Potter has revealed she received death threats from angry viewers.

The E4 reality series has recently aired her wedding to Pjay Finch, which didn't quite go as smoothly as she'd have wanted.

On the big day, he admitted to her that he was a dancer and stripper, previously telling the cameras: "I'm nervous about telling my future wife what I do."

She told him, "I didn't expect that," before taking a moment to collect her thoughts. She then broke down in tears when speaking to producers, saying she didn't want to go on honeymoon.

After talking to her mum she decided to give him a chance, but the backlash from viewers has been extreme.

Taking to her Instagram Stories she told her followers: "Can people stop sending me death threats because I've literally done f**k all wrong in this situation."

Addressing the trolls, she continued: "You were not at my wedding. Let's remember it's edited so not everything you see is what happened. There's a lot more context to it.

Talking about the actual wedding day, Jess called it "amazing". She explained: "We actually had an amazing day, danced to Chaka Khan and got pissed on white wine out of a jug."

Jess isn't the only one who is getting trolled online. Whitney Hughes recently took to Instagram to address some of the negative comments she'd received online.
