Celebrate spring in Athens with these East Texas Arboretum events

Marshall Symphony Orchestra said that their ‘Nature Walk’ show will feature Beverly Jane Peatross, “Marshall’s own opera star,” singing arias from various Italian operas, as well as “The Pines of Rome.” The show will take place on April 13 at 7 p.m. at the East Texas Baptist University Rogers Spiritual Life Center, tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door, student tickets are $10 and 12 and under tickets are free.

“This concert is both a celebration of nature, and a celebration of great music. Much of the program comes from Italy, but there are some delightful pieces that also come from places like Austria, the U.K. and even the United States,” Marshall Symphony Orchestra said.
