Martin Lewis issues 'urgent alert' to Tesco shoppers who have Clubcards
Martin Lewis has issued an "urgent" alert to Tesco shoppers who have a Clubcard - as he encouraged them to spend 50p before a deadline on Saturday. The BBC Sounds and ITV star's alert came in the form of the Money Saving Expert newsletter.
MSE said: "Urgent. Ends Sat. Tesco shopper? Last chance to use/extend £18m of expiring Clubcard vouchers. See Tesco alert." If you've got a Tesco Clubcard, check if you have any vouchers close to expiring, as £18 million-worth are due to run out on Saturday 30 November.
They are only valid for two years after they have been issued. All you have to do is log in to your account - either on the Tesco app or the Clubcard website. If you're checking on the website, navigate to 'Clubcard account' and then choose 'vouchers' from the options available.

However, you will need to know your Clubcard number, which is written on the physical cards and key fobs Tesco provides. From here you should be able to see if you have any vouchers that are on the brink of expiring, and can put them to work before they run out - saving you some of your hard-earned money.
On the Tesco app, you need to select 'Clubcard' and then 'vouchers' to see which ones you have linked to your account. If you have paper vouchers, the expiry date will be printed on them, so you can see if they are due to expire, Tesco has confirmed.
If your vouchers are due to expire and you want to try and keep them because you don't need them just now - you can try this nifty trick to extend their life. To do this you need to head to the Clubcard rewards page - it won't work in store or on the normal Tesco website. Then make the smallest possible purchase you can - like 50p.
