Martin Lewis issues warning to people who have a TV and says 'one week today'

Martin Lewis has issued a warning for people with a TV and said: "One week today." The BBC Sounds podcast host has revealed his widely-loved ITV The Martin Lewis Money Show is returning to the airwaves following a break NEXT WEEK.

Mr Lewis said: "One week today, next Tue, 8pm @ITVmlShow is back for a one off Summer special. Subjects to be announced (likely travel and boosting state pension amongst others) later - but for now put the time in the diary, and if out, set the betamax (VideoPlus code to come)."

"It would be good to go over the benefits/drawbacks of using local currencies vs Sterling. I’m think about Turkey where I see so many paying with £s. I bet I couldn’t go into my local pub and pay in Lira!" wrote a fan in response to the post.

"Any news on your potential interviews with hunt and reeves?" asked another. Earlier today, Mr Lewis celebrated some great news with his Money Saving Expert team as he shared: "A bit of showing off. I've just seen this from @pressgazette site. Can't believe the website I set up (outlay £80) 21 years ago in my living room is now in the top ten news outlets, beating many historic names. Huge congrats to all my MSE team for their incredible work..."

Press Gazette responded: "See the full figures in our latest ranking of the 50 biggest news websites in the UK (by both reach and engagement) here - as Martin points out, Money Saving Expert is now in the top 10 for monthly audience."

"And it's been loads of help over that time. Travel money, insurance, credit cards, loans, energy, savings, Ev chargers, cashback. The list goes on. Thanks," replied a fan. A second typed: "Congratulations, Martin. Something to do with the huge need for sound advice and help in money matters? And, without doubt, something to do with you being a knowledgeable and trusted source. Thank you for that."
