Martin Lewis' Money Saving Expert has warned Disney Plus customers to act before midnight TOMORROW. The price increases will take effect from Thursday 17 October – but you may be able to beat the hikes if you act before 11.59pm on Wednesday 16 October.

Four Disney+ plans will be increasing this month. Disney+ Standard Monthly will be increasing from £7.99 to £8.99, Disney+ Standard Annually will be increasing from £79.90 to £89.90, Disney+ Premium Monthly will be increasing from £10.99 to £12.99 and Disney+ Premium Annually will be increasing from £109.90 to £129.90.

Disney+ Standard with Ads Monthly subscribers will keep paying the current price of £4.99 per month. Subscribers on the plans affected by the price hike will be charged the new amounts from 21 November 2024. They will have to change their subscription to Standard with Ads before they are next billed if they want to avoid paying the new prices, or use one of our tips below to lock in for the old prices for longer.

BBC and ITV star Mr Lewis' team at MSE explained: "Pay for Disney+ on a monthly rolling basis? Sign up for an annual subscription before prices rise on Wednesday 1 November. If you do nothing, your monthly rolling price will rise from £7.99 a month to £10.99 a month on or from 6 December 2023. Stay on that monthly rolling price for the next year and you'll fork out £131.88 in total.

"Yet if you can afford to take out an upfront annual subscription by 11.59pm on Tuesday 31 October, you'll pay £79.90 – a £51.98 saving in comparison over the year." It comes as Disney Plus remains a main rival of Netflix and Amazon Prime in the UK.

The streamer is the home to the likes of Only Murders in the Building, Marvel movies and Star Wars films too.
