Martin Lewis' Money Saving Expert has issued awarning to Tesco shoppers "if you have a Clubcard". The BBC Sounds star's team at MSE, which he founded, has circulated the warning over Clubcard vouchers expiring at the end of the month.

MSE said: "If you've got a Tesco Clubcard, check if you have any vouchers close to expiring, as £18 million-worth are due to run out on Saturday 30 November. Don't want to spend your vouchers yet? We've got a trick to extend their validity."

Your Clubcard points are turned into Clubcard vouchers. 150 points gives you £1.50 in Clubcard vouchers. You can use your Clubcard vouchers to spend with Tesco or to exchange for up to 2x the value with the supermarket giant's Reward Partners.

Please note that you can’t spend your Clubcard vouchers on Tesco Marketplace. During the 2 weeks before Tesco send out your statement, the retailer will calculate the amount of Clubcard vouchers to send to you. You can also request vouchers between statements.

MSE said: "To check online, go to the Tesco Clubcard website, select 'Clubcard account' and then 'Vouchers'. You'll need to be registered for a Tesco.com account and must know your Clubcard number, which is printed on Clubcards and Clubcard key fobs. You should then be able to see a table listing your available vouchers and their expiry dates.

"To check on the Tesco app, open it up (if you don't have it, you can download it for free through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, go to 'Clubcard' and then to the 'Vouchers' section." Your vouchers are valid for 2 years, the supermarket says.

On its website, Tesco goes on to warn customers nationwide: "Once they’ve expired, you won’t be able to use them, so make sure you don’t forget about them."
