Martin Lewis has issued an urgent £60 warning to Disney Plus customers. The BBC and ITV star spoke out on X, formerly Twitter, on Friday over a new password crackdown coming to those who watch Agatha All Along, Inside Out 2, Only Murders and the Building and more.

He said: "Disney+ to start cracking down on password sharing and charge up to £60/yr more to those who do. Full details here..." In reply, a fan asked: "Not Disney related but with the energy increase next week - I’m on a set rate with my electricity til April ‘25 so assume this upcoming energy price in October won’t affect me til the end of the term? Should I still take a meter reading before the 1st?"

A second typed: "Will be cheaper to go back to blurays. Plus Disney can't come into our home and take the bluray out of our collection." A third wrote: "No real surprise Martin, they're all doing it. D+ hasn't made a profit ever AFAIK. They see this as lost income. Some more militant would call it theft!"

"its going to take a lot more than that to make up for the £230 million wasted on the acolyte and the huge loses on dial of destiny, the marvels, antman 3. Actually I think Disney is the only organisation with a bigger black hole than the uk government," another added. And another said: "Waste of money. Each platform has very little content. I’m on Disney+ at the moment as it’s on offer for £1.99 a month. Outside of that, just buy the films they have on Bluray second hand. You’ll have all of them for half what you would pay for a year’s subscription."

"I don’t really see how they can police it. Say I go to my Father In Laws and login in to watch a movie, it’s me watching it - so they can’t do anything, and if I forget to log out, well then so what…," another wrote.

Another said: "Time to drop Disney+ and hope that your free trial sign up doesn't impact your rights if you end up dying at one of their resorts."
