Martin Lewis warns Tesco Clubcard holders to act quickly or miss out
Martin Lewis has warned Tesco customers that they have just three weeks to use their Clubcard points, or risk losing them permanently. The Money Saving Expert's website has highlighted that Clubcard vouchers, worth £18million, are set to expire at the end of November.
These vouchers maintain their validity for two years from the date they were issued and cannot be used or reissued post this date, meaning if they're not redeemed in time, they'll be lost. Shoppers are urged to expend their reward points within the next three weeks, ensuring they're utilised prior to midnight on Saturday, November 30, reports The Express.
Customers can verify when their vouchers are due to expire by logging into the Tesco Clubcard website and selecting 'Clubcard account' followed by 'Vouchers', or via the Tesco app. Once located, these can be spent online or in-store using the provided code.

Every £1 spent translates to one point when scanning your Clubcard or app, while motorists can earn one point for every two litres of fuel purchased. One point equates to 1p, so for every 150 points accumulated, you'll make savings worth £1.50.
A minimum collection of 150 points is required before a Clubcard voucher can be requested for spending.
If you're not keen on using your vouchers in store, they can be put towards fuel, or their value can be doubled and used at over 100 Tesco Clubcard reward partners, including Disney+, Pizza Express, Hungry Horse pubs and Ask Italian, among others. You also have the option to exchange your vouchers for a discount on your Tesco mobile bill.
Alternatively, according to Martin Lewis' Money Saving Expert website, you can extend the expiry date of your vouchers by another two years if you're not ready to spend them yet. To do this, you'll need to make a small purchase on the Tesco Clubcard Rewards page and the remaining balance will then be credited back to your Clubcard account as points.
These points can be exchanged for vouchers manually or you can wait for them to be converted with your next statement. The new expiry date for these vouchers will then be two years later, so you'll have until 2026 to use them.
Tesco said: "When you request to turn your Clubcard points into vouchers, your statement will no longer be sent to you by post. Your Clubcard statement will then be sent to your registered email address. You must have a minimum of 150 Clubcard points to request a voucher. When you request to turn your points into vouchers, your points balance will be turned into vouchers, in 50p increments.
"Any remaining points will stay in your Clubcard points balance." According to the supermarket's website: "Any adjustments or refunds to your points balance will be processed instantly. The amount you receive in vouchers may be different to the number of points requested, to account for any adjustments or refunds.
"Clubcard collection periods are quarterly, (May, August, November, and February but exact dates may vary). Members will not be able to turn points into vouchers for 10 days before the end of each collection period."
