After the success of Spider-Man: Homecoming, which saw (shock horror) rival movie studios actually play nicely with each other, fans are hoping Marvel Studios can cut deals to borrow other studios' superheroes so everyone can reap the rewards.
In particular, people are hoping that the Fantastic Four will get to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, seeing as they are Marvel's first family and their last reboot for 20th Century Fox was a critical and commercial failure.
Yahoo Movies grabbed Marvel Studios' head honcho Kevin Feige at Disney's D23 Expo and put the question to him, and this is what he had to say.
"There are certainly no plans whatsoever for that," he said, "but too many amazing things have happened over the past 17 years (I've been at Marvel) for me to ever say never. But for now, nothing."
When asked what the chances of the famous foursome joining the likes of Thor and Black Widow are, Feige replied: "There's a chance that aliens could come down from the sky right now.
"And we'll use them in the movie to save money on visual effects."
Feige is probably looking to save as much money as possible, seeing as the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War features nearly every major actor to have appeared in a Marvel movie.
And speaking of Infinity War, D23 also saw the screening of the first-ever footage, and it sounds epic.
Next up for Marvel, however, is Thor: Ragnarok, which releases on October 27, 2017 in the UK and November 3, 2017 in the US.
