Hulu's hotly-anticipated limited series Pam & Tommy has finally set on a release date for the UK.

The show features Mamma Mia!'s Lily James and Marvel's Sebastian Stan as the eponymous couple, Baywatch star Pamela Anderson and Mötley Crüe's drummer Tommy Lee.

Co-produced by and starring Seth Rogen, the series will be released by Disney+ in the UK, with the first two episodes premiering on the streamer on February 2, 2022. In the US, the series will drop on Hulu on the same day.

Directed by Cruella's Craig Gillespie, the eight-part series kicks off with the real-life scandal that rocked the couple in the 1990s.

In 1995, the pair's sex tape (said to having been recorded during their honeymoon) was stolen and distributed without their consent.

Famously, Lee's family eventually entered a settlement deal with Internet Entertainment Group to make the sex tape available for subscribers of its websites. Anderson, on the other hand, sued the distribution company.

In the series, Rogen and Parks and Rec star Nick Offerman play the electricians responsible for the theft. Orange Is the new Black protagonist Taylor Schilling and The White Lotus' Fred Hechinger round up the cast.

Earlier this year, James and Stan shared a few first-look images in the roles of Anderson and Lee. Upon seeing the pictures, fans had to do a double take, particularly with James as Anderson in a black outfit and in her iconic Baywatch red swimsuit.

The snaps quickly went viral, garnering praise for the hair, makeup and costumes departments of the series.

Pam & Tommy premieres on Hulu on February 2, 2022. UK viewers will be able to catch the first two episodes on the same day on Disney+.
