Mary Berry has been branded 'savage' by viewers of Best Home Cook over her reaction to some of the latest dishes.

Yep, not one to hold back, Mary seemed less than impressed with one contestant's tuna salad – at least going by her facial reaction.

In last night's (February 13) semi-final, the remaining cooks were tasked with making a meal with a tin of tuna, so Georgia opted to rustle up a salad.

Judge Chris Bavin was the first of the panel to show disapproval of the meal, telling her: "You have given us an incredibly simple dish. We would have liked to have seen more cookery going on in this dish."

Mary then took a bite, and her face said it all as she was overwhelmed by the vinegar. "One thing that is hitting me is vinegar," she said. "It's very, very sharp."

Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: "How can you possibly muck up a tin of tuna???!!! Poor Mary's face when she tasted that salad!"

"Oh Mary you were a tad savage there," another added, while a third said: "Mary being served a salad is a mood."

Yet it didn't end there, as Mary was also unimpressed by Sarah's dish, telling her she had wasted much of her cooking time.

"I don't think it's enough," she added. "I think you had an hour of faffing about."

Harsh, Mary. Harsh.
