With the mischievous tagline, "I'll be snack", Maryland's new cookie flavour is going to be a big hit with chocolate orange fans. The Jaffanator has arrived on supermarket shelves and sounds delicious.

The familiar and well-loved Maryland cookie is not new to a flavour switch up. This one takes the original cookie flavour with classic milk chocolate chips, but adds in zesty citrus bursts of orange. Creating a new way to enjoy the flavours of chocolate and orange, all in one mouthful but not blended together.

Kate Needham, Marketing Director at Burton’s Biscuits said in the press release: "Our brand new orange cookie flavour, The Jaffanator, settles the age old debate of whether it’s a cake or a biscuit – it turns out it’s a cookie!"

"As the autumn period approaches, the orange and chocolate flavour combination is a classic taste to get you feeling cosy and prepared for the cooler months and festivities to come."

Whether it's chocolate brand launches, alcoholic treats, or supermarket Christmas ranges, chocolate orange really seems to be the festive flavour of the year.

The Jaffanator is available now from Sainsbury’s and Home Bargains, from Lidl 8 October and Asda 7 November. RRP: £1.30
