'Masked Singer' Fans Are Already Convinced That Will.i.am Is the Elephant

With season 3 of The Masked Singer well underway, it's now time for Group B to take the stage — and fans already have the best guesses as to who the Elephant is! With possibly the most unique and futuristic costume we've seen yet, the Elephant already seems to be a major fan favorite this season — and though only time will tell as to who the celebrity underneath this cool new mask is, we've already got the most buzzy fan theories for the identity of the Elephant.

Who is Elephant on The Masked Singer?

Let's take a look at some of the clues we have so far:

• The Elephant is wearing a futuristic black costume with bright orange accents.

• The Elephant's mask is also very futuristic, with angular and geometric shapes to the animal's ears, nose, and face.

• The Elephant has orange eyes and orange tusks.

• In an Instagram post promoting the show, the official Masked Singer account hinted at the Elephant's costume with the caption, "Play that trunk-y music," which we can guess is a punny reference to Wild Cherry's "Play That Funky Music."

Top guesses and theories for Elephant so far:

Will.i.am

Rapper and singer Will.i.am is currently the top guess for the Elephant — and there are plenty of clues that prove he might just be the one behind the mask! Will.i.am is probably best known for being the founding and lead member of hip hop group The Black Eyed Peas, and the group's debut album from 2001 was named "Elephunk." This reference to both an elephant and funky music (from "Play that trunk-y music") seems too much of a coincidence to ignore! Plus, as many fans have pointed out, the Elephant's futuristic costume definitely looks like something straight out of a Black Eyed Peas video (and in accordance with Will.i.am's personal style).

Tori Kelly

Another theory for the Elephant is singer-songwriter Tori Kelly. Fans think that Tori could definitely be the one behind this costume, as she was the voice actor for the elephant character, Meena the Elephant, in the 2016 children's animation movie "Sing." There's no doubt that this talented singer would definitely do well on The Masked Singer — and though some fans even think she's actually behind the Kitty mask, the Elephant costume would definitely be a great reference to Tori's character from the animated film.
