Seven weeks of intense secrecy down and now we finally have a winner on The Masked Singer UK.

The ITV reality show aired its grand final tonight (February 15) with Queen Bee, Hedgehog and Octopus strutting their vocal range one last time in front of judges Jonathan Ross, Rita Ora, Davina McCall and Ken Jeong.

After knocking opera icon Katherine Jenkins (Octopus) out of the competition early in the episode, Girls Aloud's Nicola Roberts (Queen Bee) was crowned the UK's first ever winner ahead of comedian Jason Manford (Hedgehog) in second place.

Blown away by the result, Nicola shared her appreciation for the Queen Bee costume and how the mask covered up expressive facial movements during big songs.

She told presenter Joel Dommett and the judging panel: "Your face is doing the wildest things to get the notes out, so I was thankful for the mask!"

"I mean, I knew your voice, you have such a distinctive tone!" responded judge Rita, "but on top of that, this show I swear has shown your vocal like I don't think anyone has ever heard you ever, ever before."

Quite the compliment, wouldn't you say? A thoroughly deserved winner indeed.
