Masked thugs storm into Clacton Vodafone store, threaten staff and steal phones worth tens of thousands of pounds
Three masked thugs stormed into an Essex Vodafone store, threatening staff and then fleeing with phones worth tens of thousands of pounds. The shocking incident took place last month in broad daylight and now police are appealing for witnesses of the robbery.
The incident took place at the Vodafone store in Pier Avenue, Clacton at around 10.10am on Sunday December 15. It was reported they threatened staff, before fleeing with mobile phones worth a five-figure sum.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "Officers are now in a position to appeal for anyone who was in the area at the time of the offence, or who may have information which could assist us, to get in touch.
