Massachusetts Residents Line Up Next to Snowbanks for Coronavirus Testing in Worcester

People were seen waiting in long lines next to towering snowbanks for coronavirus testing in downtown Worcester, Massachusetts, on December 22, as the state neared 2,000 patients hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Speaking on Monday, Massachusetts Gov Charlie Baker said he was “begging everyone to stay within their immediate household” around Christmas and New Year’s. As of December 21, at least 1,991 patients were recorded in Massachusetts hospitals, according to state figures.
