A large quantity of cash and drugs were found in a vehicle stopped by police in Gwynedd. Two men were subsequently arrested for being in possession with intent to supply.

North Wales Police (NWP) said Neighbourhood Policing (NPT) officers from the Gwynedd North team stopped and searched a vehicle in the Bethesda area. They said a “significant” amount of cash and Class B drugs were seized.

Last night’s stop-and-search follows on from last week’s Operation Hessite. This saw 19 people arrested after NWP North Gwynedd officers raided addresses in Llanberis, Bangor and Caernarfon
