If there's one contestant who has stood out to viewers of this series of MasterChef, it's Fumbi.
He really impressed the judges in the earlier stages of the competition, and his panic face was almost on The Great British Bake Off-level, which really endeared him to viewers at home.
But as things have rolled on and people have been eliminated, Fumbi's fumbling (as people have dubbed it) and obvious mistakes have started to divide the public: some people still find him charming and entertaining, others feel he has been given too many chances.
Tonight (April 26) proved no different, as our hopefuls had to work a shift in professional chef Shaun Rankin's restaurant and crumbled under the pressure – or should that be crumbled under the pasta?
He was confused by ravioli, you see. It's a pun.
You know what, let's just hand over the witty commentary to you guys, and see what you thought of tonight's episode (tweets may contain strong language).
"It's knockout week on Masterchef". Punches Greggggggg. Oh sorry, misunderstood. #MasterChef- Guy Pedliham (@guypeds) April 26, 2017
#MasterChef let's see what fumble fucks up tonight, he needs to go!!- Scott Hopper (@Scotthopper1) April 26, 2017
I don't understand people who want to be a chef but then say they've never made pasta before. Surely it's a basic skill?#Masterchef- KC (@FallenAngel2106) April 26, 2017
I will be amazed if Fumbi manages to successfully piece together a complete dish for the first time #masterchef- Chris Robertson (@christiffer) April 26, 2017
Why do they call it knock-out week on #masterchef. Someone's knocked out every week. (Unfortunately not the greengrocer.)- Andrew Stevenson (@the_a_stevenson) April 26, 2017
#masterchef Fumbi's slow blink of sadness is a feature of every episode. Let's see what happens :)- Nima (@DrStrangetwit) April 26, 2017
#Masterchef The boring 'Professional Kitchen' segment. Almost as dull as the 'Armed Forces Mass-Catering' bit.- ColinB (@beirnecolinp) April 26, 2017
#Masterchef Love the service challenges we get to see how they do under proper pressure.....- Zibbles Zeb ☯️ (@ZibblesSez) April 26, 2017
Um don't give Fumbi your favourite, signature dish. Put him in charge of ice or something #MasterChef- teri-may 🤘 (@AcupofTblog) April 26, 2017
Not sure I can emotionally handle Fumbi being shouted at tbh #masterchef- Ariadne Griffin (@Ariadne_Griffin) April 26, 2017
I've said it before but Fumbi does not deserve to have gotten through as far as he has- I am a meat popsicle (@Foo_fan_Shaun) April 26, 2017

Fumbi struggling! Feeling sorry for him now! Should not have been put through #masterchef- Sithy Hedges (@Sithys_Lines) April 26, 2017
I wouldn't be so rude if Fumbi broke my ravioli. #MasterChef- Lorelei King🇪🇺 (@LoreleiKing) April 26, 2017
And the most scathing tweet of all:
Is Fumbi the #masterchef equivalent of Jedward/Honey G/Wagner?- Dave Hobbins (@vanishedbob) April 26, 2017
The action then returned to the MasterChef kitchen and if you think Fumbi was crumbling under the pressure before, he then tried to make... a crumble.
Fortunately/unfortunately for our least favourite/favourite contestant, his dessert was slated for not having any stand-out flavours, looking too messy and not having a strong base.
To the surprise of no-one, Fumbi was sent home, and, to the surprise of no-one, people have mixed feelings about this:
Awww no , I think the nerves got the better of him .Sorry he went #MasterChef- Lisa (@The_blonde) April 26, 2017
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! #masterchef- lauren brown (@aynsley_angel) April 26, 2017
