With the first big golfing event out of the way for the year at The Players Championship, attention turns to Augusta National and The Masters.

The world’s best will descend on one of golf’s greatest stages in Georgia to contest for the famous green jacket.

Patrick Reed is the defending champion, but after his victory at The Players, a first win in over a year, Rory McIlroy is the firm favourite as he hunts a career Grand Slam.

The Northern Irishman will look to join an illustrious list of stars with all four major titles having won the Open Championship, PGA Championship and US Open between 2011-2014.

McIlroy’s best finish at Augusta came in 2015, when he finished fourth, six shots behind Jordan Spieth.
